As a police officer Rich was trained by the National White Collar Crime Center in Computer Data Recovery and Analysis. CES now specializes in computer forensics. Analyzing and recovering of deleted and hidden data. Rich was also trained in "Data Chain of Custody" which is the strict guidelines that Law Enforcement uses for handling computer data in court proceedings.
Forensic Analysis
Computer Forensics can be defined as the process of analysis and investigative techniques used to compile and preserve evidence from a computing device in a way that is suitable for presentation in a court of law. This is done by a trained technician, following a strict set of procedures and maintaining a documented chain of evidence, in order to reveal what exactly was done on a device and whom is responsible. With training from the National White Collar Crime Center in Computer Data Recovery and Analysis and also training in the "Data Chain of Custody" from his time as a police officer, owner of CES, Rich Robertson has extensive knowledge as well as experience with forensic analysis which has qualified Rich as an expert witness on computer forensics in Frederick County and Washington County Circuit Courts. With Rich's Law Enforcement Background and Law Enforcement Forensic training, CES can assist Law Enforcement and Attorney's in Criminal and Civil investigations.
