As a police officer Rich was trained by the National White Collar Crime Center in Computer Data Recovery and Analysis. CES now specializes in computer forensics. Analyzing and recovering of deleted and hidden data. Rich was also trained in "Data Chain of Custody" which is the strict guidelines that Law Enforcement uses for handling computer data in court proceedings.

Data Recovery

There are many different things that can cause a hard drive to fail such as a manufacturer defect, a power-surge, computer viruses, and accidental formatting. Here at CES we have the necessary tools, equipment, software, and expertise to recover data in the event of a hard drive failure.

There may be warning signs a hard drive is going to fail, which can save some of your most valuable data if caught in time.

Some signs of poor hard drive health are:

- Slow or degrading performance reading or writing data
